Good morning, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

We are in the blessed Lenten season, and we are currently on day 38.

From day 35 to day 38, I had time to reflect a lot on my life, and here are some of my reflections on this beautiful day based on my Father's love for me.

  1. Patience is the most underrated virtue, not in terms of popularity but in terms of desiring it. Patience will help you to stay focused in the present moment and enjoy the presence of Jesus completely. It prevents the past from tempting you and the future from troubling you. It will help you to carry someone with grace.

    Your task: Reflect on Galatians 6:2 "Bear one another's burdens."

Patience translates to "prayerful trust."

  1. Love bears all things. It perseveres and hopes. Every "good thing" will happen in God's timing. If you love God, hope. Our hope in Jesus is never futile. It is alive and happening.

    Your task: Reflect on: “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen. ” Isaiah 60:22 and, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11

    What is meant for you will come at the right moment. Nothing good will miss you.

  2. Rely on God's grace and not on release. Anger, frustration, hatred, disappointments, loneliness, and many such emotional turmoil can cause you to find something instantaneous - a temporary relief that leaves more holes in your heart than before. It will then be easy to be consumed by our own desire for revenge and bitterness. Do not suppress; let everything come out with full transparency before God. He can handle it. To rely on His grace practically, remember who He is - the Way Maker and Miracle Working God, and remember His powerful promise in Romans 8:28-"all things work together for the good of those who love God."

Your task: Reflect on 2 Corn 12:9 -

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

  1. God sees you and hears you. Your troubles will soon become the most powerful testimonies. Have faith. He is in the boat. "Go now in peace. Your faith has made you well." - Jesus.

    Your task: Reflect on Psalm 139:1-4:

    1 You have searched me, Lord,

        And you know me.

    2 You know when I sit and when I rise;

        You perceive my thoughts from afar.

    3 You discern my going out and my lying down;

        You are familiar with all my ways.

    4 Before a word is on my tongue

        You, Lord, know it completely.

  1. You cannot change someone or what they do. You can only tell them what is wise and what is unwise and surrender them to Jesus in prayerful trust, so God can do what needs to be done through you.

    "Rely on My Holy Spirit inside of you." - Jesus.

    Your task: Reflect on Psalm 62:8 - "Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us."

  1. God's grace is always readily available. Repentance is the real deal - change your ways - become better and healthier by God's grace. It is a journey. Rejoice, for we are whole in Christ.

    Your task: Reflect on Romans 8:1 - "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

  1. Finally, remember and reflect on what it means: I have decided to follow Jesus. The world behind me and the Cross before me, and I won't turn back. Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for everyone who reads this post. I pray that whatever is making them anxious or worried, Your promises will guide them and act as light on their feet. I pray that they will earnestly seek Your Kingdom and glorify You, and that they will let Your grace work in them and not numb themselves up. I pray for their success, their future, which is secure in You, and for their strength in the present moment in the name of Jesus, Your Son and our Lord. Amen.

God bless you all.
